Retro Long-form ads for Honeywell Aero

The company asked for unusual ads – inspired from old ads of the ’60s and ’70s. Called long-form Ads, they rely heavy on large pieces of text, not just on the key visual + tagline/slogan.

The above ads are examples of that, and my mission was to create ads in that same style, for Honeywell’s Future Air Transportation initiative, seeking to re-enact the excitement/admiration of the public from the 60’s towards the air travel, but with our current contemporary take on the future of aviation. The Red+Black style + formatting had to stay in place, as it was mandatory by the brand manual.

You can see a more detailed description of the Photoshop process in this post -> https://claudiu.cvrj.ro/honeywell-long-form-ad-keyvisual-build/

Ad 1 – this was based on the halftone-pattern print texture of old newspapers

Ad 2 – this was based on the idea of an old photo, with discolorations due to the aging photo paper
